A Day In The City

Today was a pretty good, except that I didn't have a cup of coffee in the morning. I went back to the city today cause I needed to return my library book, some person had requested, so I needed to give it back since it was overdue. However, I did want to go back since I wanted to get stuffing for my Gabu army, (I ordered the eyes, they're here, I shall get them Monday!). Anyways, after I returned my book, I went on a food and yarn crawl (more for food then yarn).
I went to Smiley's Yarn intending to only get a crochet hook, however I couldn't stop myself from getting the circular needles since I didn't have this size. I think I'll need it sometime in the future. After returning my book, I went to Knit-A-Way to look at their nice yarn, then since it was close, I went to Fast&Fresh Burrito Deli and got myself a Pastor Torta. It comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado, fried beans, cheese, jalapenos, mayo and spicy pork with pineapple. The torta was a bit on the hard side when I had it cause I waited 20 mins before consumming( I had to find somewhere to sit!). However it was good, the fried beans, jalapenos and avocado were terrific. The spicy pork was spicy and I don't really know what happened to my pineapples, it seemed to have been missing! I was expecting chunks, but there wasn't any. After my torta, I went to get some Greek yogurt at Yoghurt Place II. I got mine with apricot fig jam and almonds. The apricot fig jam and almonds were good, they made the yogurt yummier. The Greek yogurt is a lot thicker than normal yogurt, it's more cream cheese like to me. Without the toppings, the yogurt pretty much wasn't as tasteful to me.I finally got the stuffing for my Gabu Army. The eyes are coming. Hopefully I'll get at least one stuffed soon. Not this week, midterms coming, maybe this weekend or next.
Some people collect stamps, others baseball cards, I collect color cards. I've always had this liking for color, I'm fascinated with it, the shades and especially the names. I love the imaginative names people think of for a certain shade, say "pale shrimp"
